Due to some changes in the pvlib API, we had to adapt the pv model of the feedinlib. Now everything works fine again.
Together with the pvlib we are planing to reduce the code of feedinlib’s pv model and move missing functionalities directly to the pvlib. This will avoid incompatibility problems in the future.

This release of v0.0.8 includes some bug fixes for the old stable oemof version. Try this update for running projects. For new projects you should check out v0.1beta as this is the future of oemof and includes some major improvements.
For more information, see:
The GitHub presence and the new structure of oemof was presented at the 4th openmod meeting at KTH in Stockholm along with 16 other short talks of the international community. Many common working fields have been detected and discussed which will hopefully be continued in the coming months.
The newest version of pyomo (4.3.11377) causes problems so we had to exclude it from the setup file. Now fresh installations will work out of the box again.
The sun finally came out today and so did our April release with new features and bug fixes. Check out the What’s New for more information.
The upcoming month will be especially interesting for the oemof community as the 4th oemof Developer Meeting will take place in the beginning of May. Major organisational and structural issues will be discussed and you can look forward to a great new release. So stay tuned!
On April 1st of 2016 version 0.0.5 aka the March release of oemof has been published. Among some bug fixes, documentation cleanups and new features, we are marching towards stabilizing oemof’s API and feature set. See the release notes for a (more or less complete) breakdown of what’s new in this release.
There will be a major refactoring in April which is planned to create the basis for a bigger version bump.
Indeed it is and here is our 2nd release in 2016. Some days over, but anyway. What’s new?
See the release notes for more details and get the new version at pypi.
Futhermore, we have decided to undertake a major refactoring in April. It will affect the new majorish version to be released after the Developer Meeting in May. For more information on that, contact us on github.
We released a new version of oemof today. The new version includes some nice features such as the demandlib for calculation of demands, the outputlib for beautiful plots. Additionally the documentation was improved and bugs have been fixed! We implemented a fast-build way for important constraints of the solph-pyomo model. For large models this can be significant faster.
Stay tuned!
After the first release in November a lot of big or small fixes are done. The API for the results changed but over all the APIs will be more and more stable until summer.
